Who We Are
John Tommasi started in the recruiting business in 1987 after graduating from Villanova University where he majored in International Business. He joined a very successful contract placement firm where he served as the top recruiter for seven consecutive years before entering the consulting field with his number one client. For eleven years, John was a leading recruitment consultant for some of New England’s top hi-tech firms. Clients ranged from multi-national firms to 20 person start-ups within a wide range of technical disciplines.
After consulting in the R&D/DOD market place, John observed that this space was not well served because of the nature and difficulty in locating the nation’s top talent with some of the most hard-to-find skillsets. He rose to the challenge and established Slide Book Partners –a firm dedicated to serving the top R&D/DoD clients in the country. John’s rare combination of corporate and agency recruiting ensure that his candidates get to the decisions makers and not lost in the “black hole” that prohibits top candidates from getting into top companies. Conversely, John understands the challenges faced by hiring managers and can help them navigate the rough waters of the hiring process.
